Fall 2025 Tackle Football

Welcome to the 2025 Fall Tackle Football Season!

Hosted by Northern Arizona Avengers Football and Cheer, we are thrilled to offer young athletes an exciting opportunity to experience the thrill and camaraderie of youth tackle football. As a proud member of the Arizona Youth Football League (AYFL), we are committed to providing a comprehensive and enriching football experience for players across multiple age divisions.

Age Divisions

All ages are determined by the player's age on July 31, 2025.
  • 7U Select Division: Ages 5, 6, 7, and 8 (if the child turns 8 after 7/31/25)
  • 9U Select Division: Ages 8, 9, and 10 (if the child turns 10 after 7/31/25)
  • 10U Select Division: Ages 9, 10 and 11 (if the child turns 11 after 7/31/25)
  • 11U Select Division: Ages 10, 11, and 12 (if the child turns 12 after 7/31/25)
  • 12U Select Division: Ages 11, 12, and 13 (if the child turns 13 after 7/31/25)
  • 13U Select Division: Ages 12, 13, and 14 (if the child turns 14 after 7/31/25)
Please note: Age divisions may be adjusted based on registration numbers to ensure balanced and competitive play.

As we embark on our first Fall season of youth tackle football, we are excited to help young athletes hone their skills, build lasting friendships, and develop a strong foundation in the sport.

Competitive Excellence

Our program is built on dedication, rigorous training, and a commitment to excellence. Athletes are expected to:

✅ Follow structured training plans
✅ Prioritize proper nutrition and conditioning
✅ Be coachable, disciplined, and motivated
Through expert coaching and structured practice sessions, players will develop essential football skills and a deeper understanding of the game.

Earning Your Spot on Game Day

We welcome athletes of all experience levels! However, please be aware that minimum game-day play time is limited. Every player will have game-day action, but additional playtime must be earned.
Game-day playtime is earned by:
✔️ Arriving early to every practice
✔️ Communicating with coaches about areas for improvement
✔️ Maintaining a positive attitude and showing team spirit
✔️ Giving 100% effort in drills, scrimmages, and team activities
✔️ Demonstrating commitment, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Football is more than just a game—it teaches dedication, perseverance, and personal growth. Whether your child plays every down or just a few, they will leave the season a better athlete and a stronger teammate.

Game Day Experience

🏈 Games are played on Saturdays, with kick-off times as early as 8 AM. We anticipate having approximately 4 home games and 4 away games.
🏈 Away games will be played against teams in and around Phoenix, Prescott, and Flagstaff, offering players the chance to compete, showcase their skills, and engage in friendly rivalries.
🏈 To make game day more comfortable, pop-up shade tents and a cooler box with non-glass refreshments are welcome.
🚫 However, smoking, vaping, and alcohol are strictly prohibited at all games and team events.
🐶 No dogs are allowed at most game-day locations—please check venue-specific rules before bringing pets.

✔️ Shoulder pad rental
✔️ One mouthguard
✔️ Comprehensive coaching & positive reinforcement to help athletes develop a love for football

❌ Not Included (Required Purchases):

🚨 Red integrated football pants
🚨 Football cleats
🚨 Spare mouthguards (Highly recommended to have multiple, as they are frequently lost, and players cannot play without them)
🚨 NSID age verification subscription ($10 per year)

2025 Fall Cheer

The 2025 Cheer Program, in collaboration with Northern Arizona Avengers Football and Cheer, is designed to cultivate passion, skill, and team spirit among young athletes in the Northern Arizona region. This season, we’re bringing more energy, inclusivity, and high-flying excitement than ever before!

Two Cheer Options to Fit Every Athlete

To ensure every cheerleader finds the perfect fit, we are offering two distinct program options for athletes ages 5-14. This approach allows each participant to cheer in an environment that best suits their age, experience level, and family connections to our football teams.

📣 Sideline Cheer

For those who love to cheer at football games in a fun, relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere. Sideline cheerleaders will learn chants, cheers, and simple routines to hype up the crowd while supporting their team.

🏆 Competition Team - Tryouts in November 2025

For those looking to take cheer to the next level! This team will compete in Las Vegas, requiring dedicated practice, commitment, and advanced skills. Participation in competitions is mandatory for this group. More info coming later!

📢 Program Highlights

✨ Skilled Training: Whether beginner or advanced, our expert coaches will develop skills in motions, jumps, tumbling, and stunting.
✨ Inclusive for All Levels: No experience? No problem! Our program welcomes cheerleaders of all skill levels.
✨ Community Engagement: Cheerleaders will have opportunities to participate in local events, parades, and showcases, promoting school spirit and community pride.
✨ Physical Fitness & Well-Being: Our cheer training incorporates fitness, flexibility, stamina-building, and mindfulness.
✨ Team-Building Activities: We host bonding events, workshops, and retreats to foster friendships and teamwork.
✨ Safety First: Our coaches prioritize safety protocols to ensure all stunts and routines are performed with care.

🎀 Cheerleader Uniform Package & Requirements

This season, every cheerleader will receive a comprehensive uniform package to enhance their experience and team identity.
📌 Uniform Rentals: The skirt and shell top are season rentals and must be returned at the end of the season. We will handle dry cleaning after they are turned in.
📌 Deposit Requirement: A $150 deposit (post-dated check) is required at uniform pick-up. This check will not be cashed unless the skirt and shell are not returned by November 25, 2025.

✔️ Owned Items: Long-sleeve half-top, red bloomers, extra-large red bow, and pom-poms

🎒 Gym Bag (Optional)
👕 Practice Attire: Red shirt & blue shorts

🌟 Competition Opportunities & Fundraising

For those wanting more than sideline cheer, we are offering optional competition opportunities throughout the season! While competition costs are not included in the base registration fee, fundraising options will be available to help offset expenses.
