A: After registration, you'll be added to a Team Reach group chat. Through this, you can directly communicate with coaches and other team parents.

A: Dates are yet to be finalized but expect them around mid February or just after our 2 week mandatory Boot Camp (starts January 20th).
Q: What equipment does the club provide and what do I need to bring?
A: We encourage players to purchase their own helmets and pads but for a rental fee we can rent this equipment to you. Custom Jerseys are provided. Players should come with cleats, integrated football pants, mouth guards, water, and most importantly, a positive attitude!

13U: 13-14 year olds

Q: What league is the NAZ Avengers apart of?
A: During Fall 2024 we joined Northern Arizona Youth Football League (NAYF). But because they don't have a spring league we will be joining Arizona YFL, down in Phoenix. For Fall 2025 we plan to have 4 rec teams enrolled in NAYF and 2 select teams enrolled in AYFL.
Q: What is the difference between rec and select?
A: Rec teams will be scheduled 2-3 days per week. Attendance is monitored but much more loosely. Select teams are in it to win it. Select teammates should have extensive experience playing tackle football and must desire to compete against tough competition in Phoenix. Practice and conditioning attendance is mandatory and will be 3-4 days per week.
Q: I'd love to volunteer. How do I get started?
A: We appreciate your enthusiasm and NEED all the help we can get! For more details on getting involved, please email Krystle at [email protected].
Q: How far do the teams usually travel for games?
A: The spring season generally includes 2-3 home games and 2-3 away games. Away games are often held in locations such as Mesa, Chandler, Phoenix, Surprise, and other nearby areas. Our aim is to balance staying local with the opportunity to engage in competitive play against diverse teams.
Q: Why is my child not getting more game time?
A: Everyone will get game day play time. The minimum play time guaranteed is 4 snaps per game. Additional Game time is not guaranteed and will be determined by a combination of factors including effort, attendance, skill level, and importantly, safety. Each player's well-being is our top priority, and we assess their readiness to ensure they can safely enjoy the game. We encourage you to have a conversation with the coach about your child's progress. The coach can offer a player evaluation and collaborate with both the child and parent to develop a constructive plan for improvement and increased participation in a safe and positive manner.
